Fly ash, a resource recovered from burning coal to create electricity, is utilized as a key ingredient and replacement for cement in many of our products. Use of fly ash reduces the demand for cement, and helps reduce CO2 emissions created when cement is manufactured. For more information about fly ash, see www.flyash.com.
Damaged and unusable concrete block and spillage from the manufacturing process is crushed, screened and sorted, then recycled into new block as aggregate.
